Many times in the past, the Cuban people

have risen to throw out tyrants who

destroyed their liberty. And I have no doubt

that most Cubans today look forward to the

time when they will be truly free

free　from foreign domination, free to choose

their own leaders, free to select their own

system, free to own their own land, free to

speak and write and worship without fear

or degradation. And then shall Cuba be

welcomed back to the society of free nations

and to the associations of this hemisphere.

昔から　キューバの人民は、自由を破壊する勢力に立ち向かってきた

ほとんどのキューバ国民は

前を向き　国外勢力からの自由

自らのリーダーを選ぶ自由

自国の領土の自由

言論の自由

脅威の無い神の恩寵

を疑いなく持っている

キューバは即

西側自由世界に戻るべきである

「free」と言う言葉を

効果的に使った
